It is possible however to make very good consistent money using the GamCast software as a foundation for your betting strategy and we will show you how.

Registering with a bookies

This is a great opportunity to use the GamCast software to pick out a game to bet on. Choose a game that is a fairly sure bet with a predicted score of three goals or more in it and bet on this, you can potentially double your working capital when betting low amounts this way.

Picking winning games

We've never had much luck with this over a long period. The odds are too low and there is always the risk of an upset when playing low odds games. I wouldn't recommend this at present.

Picking draws

Picking draws has a lot of advantages, first the odds are really good with draws because not many people bet on them. The bookies take loads of money on Utd to win and Rooney to score first because that is what all the fans want to see. Nil nil draw has less people betting on it and therefore better odds.

You can also see straight away from the attack and defence ratings how close it is likely to be. This is a better indicator than the predicted score for this type of betting.

An attack rating below 1.2 means the attack is pretty weak.
A defence rating below 1.2 means the defence is pretty good.

If both teams have a low defence and attack rating then the predicted score will be 0-0 and if the teams are evenly matched and there are no other factors (i.e. local derby etc) betting on nil nil is a really good bet.

Betting on Scores

This is high risk high reward gambling and you need to accept you aren't always going to get it right. Our software will calculate the score correctly about 1 in 6 games so a lot of the time you wont be winning. When you do get it right however you will generally win with good odds.

A good practice is to look at the predicted scores and pick out the ones which have the odds stacked against them. If you had bet on all the premier league scores which were either 3-0 or 4-0 this month you would have lost 6 games and won 4. Betting a £10 stake on each would have netted you a £642 profit on a £100 outlay. That is more like the kind of ROI we are looking for.

Picking and choosing the games is key. Instinct plays a big part here but also weigh up the GamCast prediction against the Bookies odds. If the odds are favourable and it sounds like a good bet then have a flutter.

Goal Rush

This is Betfreds own offer in which you bet on whether or not both teams will score. GamCast works really well with this and you can make £££ by placing bets according to the predicted scores and attack/defence ratings.

A high attack ratings and high defence ratings for both teams means it is likely to be a goal fest.
Low attack ratings and low defence ratings for both teams means you should bet against both teams scoring.

So remember a lower defence rating means the defence is better and less likely to concede a goal.

Accumulators

Accumulators are often seen as a lottery ticket bet. Predict the results of 4-8 games and your original bet is multiplied on each if they all come in. GamCast is as helpful as ever with these. A great strategy is to predict four or five draws in an accumulator and keep your fingers crossed. Again this is the kind of bet you aren't going to win that often so don't bet your house on it but the rewards are great when you get it right.

Scorecast

This is when you predict the first scorer and the score. If you know the two teams well and you are confident about a particular player scoring or you know something the bookies don't about the lineup it could be a good bet. We can help with the score but not the first scorer.

Strategy

Everyone has their own strategy when betting on the weekends football offerings.

I tend to start with the GamCast front page and look at what games are playing. I tend to avoid any games that have a predicted score of 1-0 or 2-1. I'll pick out anything that has a draw prediction and really close attack and defence stats. I'll bet on the individual score in each of these games and put the results all into an accumulator. If there are a lot of nil nil draws that weekend I'll put the scores into the accumulator instead of the results.

I'll then choose a few games which have good odds against them and bet on the score for these individually.

If there are 4 or 5 games I am really confident about I'll put the results of these into a Lucky 15 or 31 bet which basically bets 15 different bets on two games coming in together then three games etc.

If I am doing well for a few weeks running I generally have one big bet a month as well. Most of the time this is either a nil nil draw bet or a low odds accumulator. Every now and then GamCast will throw up a little golden nugget where the stats are perfectly matched and it seems just too easy to predict the outcome. I've been pretty lucky with these so far, touch wood.
